Global Outreach
Hope Church is committed to disciple-making and gospel-centered church planting, not just locally but globally as well. We seek to establish and maintain cross-cultural partnerships that embrace that commitment. The Global Outreach Team encourages Hope’s people to build personal relationships with our global partners through praying, giving and going.

Global Outreach Partners
As a church, we believe that we are better together. For that reason, we work globally through Strategic Partnerships, Collaborative Partnerships and Partner Trips, with a central focus on the local church.
Strategic Partnerships
As part of our core strategy for outreach, these partners work directly or tangentially with church planting and disciple-making both in the US and abroad.

Louis has been part of the team that is leading the way in remote recordings of the Scriptures, centered around the local people and the local church.
Piedras Vivas Church
-
Piedras Vivas Church began in 2009 when Felipe and Eva Vazquez planted it out of Betel EFC. They chose to plant in the neighborhood of Los Sauces since it is a community of around 50,000 with no evangelical churches. Hope has partnered with them in planting this church through summer trips and youth internships. They have seen much growth in engaging their community with sports, English and art classes, and other activities for children, youth and families.
Felipe & Eva Vazquez
-
Felipe and Eva are church planters. After developing leadership to take their place at Betel Church, they were sent out to plant Piedras Vivas. While growing their church leadership, the Vazquez family has kept their focus on church planting, and neighborhood engagement.
Minfu Hsu
-
Minfu Hsu works with the Evangelical Free Church of Taiwan. Their mission is to Glorify God by planting disciple-making churches that mobilize Taiwanese workers for Taiwan and beyond. Currently, God has given them three initiatives: 1) A Missional Church Planting Initiative; 2) A Bi-lingual Church Planting Initiative; 3) A Hakka Church Planting Initiative. Minfu leads the Hakka Church Planting Initiative. The Hakka are an unreached people group with less than 1% who are followers of Christ.

Collaborative Partnerships
Our Collaborative Partners are involved in gospel-centered ministry nationally and internationally. These partners present Hope with the opportunity to work together on one-time or short term projects that extend our reach with the gospel even further.

David and Allison DeJong
-
David and Allison serve with Ethnos 360 Aviation. David is an aircraft mechanic and oversees the parts department and mechanical protocol for all Ethnos 360 aircrafts.

Betel EFC
-
Hope first had the privilege of working with Betel in 2003. In 2007 the church leadership team invited us into an official partnership with them. Betel has a deep-seeded desire to see the gospel go forth in their neighborhood and the world, and we have been able to minister together in Mexico and the U.S. In 2015, we took our partnership further by sending a joint team to visit and encourage our partners in other parts of the world.

Joel and Dennise Smith
-
Joel and Dennise were involved in church planting in Brussels for almost three decades. Through their partnership we have been able to participate from afar in three different church plants of which they have been a part. In retirement, Joel and Dennise continue to serve the churches in Brussels from the U.S. while equipping U.S. churches for ministry in Belgium.

Merle & Claudia Wiens
-
Merle and Claudia served in different African countries since the mid-80’s, from Congo to Kenya to Tanzania. Now retired, the Wiens are based out of Phoenix, AZ. They continue to support local pastors and gospel initiatives in East Africa.
